QoS (Quality of Service) Systems

QoS means Quality of Service. For an IP telephone system to be able to make VoIP calls it will need to be connected to a high speed Broadband Internet connection. If this Internet connection is the only one the company uses then the voice traffic will be competing with the companies normal data traffic. By installing a CTX1000 QoS system, the network data flows are managed and priority is given to the Voice traffic, ensuring good voice quality at all times

PoE (Power over Ethernet) Injectors

POE Injectors are used to deliver power to IP phones via the Ethernet network cable. The injectors are installed in the same server rack as the telephone system adjacent to the Network switch. They provide a much neater more elegant solution and eliminate the need for a power supply for each IP phone.

UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) Units

With phone systems normally being the most mission critical piece of equipment within a company, most companies consider it essential that the Phone system keeps working even in the event of a mains power failure. With a UPS installed the phone system will keep working and you can select from a range of UPS systems that provide power from 2 to 6 hours.
